i've tried playing tracks ripped from cd's using lame that are gapless, and they playback fine. however, a lot of my tracks don't. the reason for this is most likely that there is something wrong with the mp3 file itself, but this does not stop foobar2000 or winamp with in_mpg123 playing the tracks perfectly. the errors in the tracks will probably have been caused because i use this (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=35654&st=0) tool to split my large mp3 mixes with cuesheets. the symptoms are that xbmc actually cuts the beginning of tracks off. the output is gapless but not correct and it is very obvious that there is an error between the two files. bug fixed - link removed - thanks! some relevant parts of the ...... - 2009-07-04

With just shy of 250 members I don't want to have to go through each one manually. Hello all, I am new to XBMC, and I'm currently using the latest T3CH release. I want to be able to view the file names to some movies I have that are named in Chinese. However, at the moment, they appear as square boxes. I've tried setting the charset to chinese in the Appearance menu, but nothing has changed. Do I need to manually add fonts somewhere? I've read some of the beginning photo books, done a good amount of searching online- I understand all the basic concepts of aperture, shutter speed, ISO to get a proper exposure. I'm just confused as to why aperture is expressed as a fraction. I understand how the stop system works to increase/decrease the area by 2, but for different focal lengths, I don't understand why the same f number corresponds to the same amount of light (assume the same shutter speed). For Example If you had f/1.8 on a 55mm lens, wouldn't that equate to more light into the sensor than f/1.8 on a 24mm lens? I have numerous custom task views set up in Outlook that I would like to lock, so that I can't blow away a custom view when I accidentally click on one of the column headers. I have researched this for a while and the only suggestion that I have found is the following: You can?t prevent users from customizing views. Why do I get "Delayed Write Failures" when using Firewire? This occurs using Vantex hard drive enclosures model NST-350UF hooked up to recent PC running latest Win XP Pro, with Intel chipset, not VIA. Have 15 of these enclosures and 7 PCs, some of the external hard drives work some of the time on some of the PCs, none work all of the time with all of them. Very frustrating. Need to get all of them to work all of the time. Other "preassembled" external hard drives (from Maxtor) do not do this with these PCs, so suspect something with the Vantec enclosures. I plan on joining the Navy in the next year. I'm 18 and in good shape, I get nice grades, scored amazing on the ASVAB, and have competed in many weight lifting competitions at my high school. The minimum requirements for running for the Navy are a mile and a half in (I think) about 13 minutes. I absolutely hate running and I'm terrible at it. I really enjoy shooting with a very shallow depth of field. I believe this is called macro shooting but, if I am wrong please correct me. I am using a D100 with a 28-100mm F/3.5-5.6G. Hello all, I am new to XBMC, and I'm currently using the latest T3CH release. I want to be able to view the file names to some movies I have that are named in Chinese. However, at the moment, they appear as square boxes. I've tried setting the charset to chinese in the Appearance menu, but nothing has changed. Do I need to manually add fonts somewhere? I've read some of the beginning photo books, done a good amount of searching online- I understand all the basic concepts of aperture, shutter speed, ISO to get a proper exposure. I'm just confused as to why aperture is expressed as a fraction. I understand how the stop system works to increase/decrease the area by 2, but for different focal lengths, I don't understand why the same f number corresponds to the same amount of light (assume the same shutter speed). For Example If you had f/1.8 on a 55mm lens, wouldn't that equate to more light into the sensor than f/1.8 on a 24mm lens? I have numerous custom task views set up in Outlook that I would like to lock, so that I can't blow away a custom view when I accidentally click on one of the column headers. I have researched this for a while and the only suggestion that I have found is the following: You can?t prevent users from customizing views. The closest you can come is preventing any of their changes from being persistent by setting View.LockUserChanges = True. Does anyone know what to do with this command or what it does exactly. Why do I get "Delayed Write Failures" when using Firewire? This occurs using Vantex hard drive enclosures model NST-350UF hooked up to recent PC running latest Win XP Pro, with Intel chipset, not VIA. Have 15 of these enclosures and 7 PCs, some of the external hard drives work some of the time on some of the PCs, none work all of the time with all of them. Very frustrating. Need to get all of them to work all of the time. Other "preassembled" external hard drives (from Maxtor) do not do this with these PCs, so suspect something with the Vantec enclosures. I plan on joining the Navy in the next year. I'm 18 and in good shape, I get nice grades, scored amazing on the ASVAB, and have competed in many weight lifting competitions at my high school. The minimum requirements for running for the Navy are a mile and a half in (I think) about 13 minutes. I absolutely hate running and I'm terrible at it. I really enjoy shooting with a very shallow depth of field. I believe this is called macro shooting but, if I am wrong please correct me. I am using a D100 with a 28-100mm F/3.5-5.6G.
